One of the coolest things about this job of mine is surely, that I get to hear all these amazing love stories! Some of them are truly magically and it makes my heart sing, because I like to believe in a bit of magic: It's likely the best ingredient for a great story and maybe - life in general. So autumn has arrived and I will get to spend some of it in one of my favorite rainy-windy countries, but whenever I need a bit of magical summer vibes, I often think of these two wonderful people, who I got to meet all the way down in South Africa this year. Their utterly stunning wedding at Babylonstoren farm will be featured in print somewhere special this autumn and I can't wait to share more about it soon, but one of my highlights surely was a private lunch I got to share with them.

Honestly, you can rock my heart with kindness any day, but I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I came to the gorgeous De Meye restaurant and saw Candice & Brett waiting there - just for me! We had such a wonderful time eating the yummiest food at this beautiful and fuss-free restaurant, where tables are simply moved every now and then to align them to the shadow of the trees.

Sitting with them and listening to the story of how they met was such a treat and I am secretly hoping that Brett, who is an architect but also a very darn talented writer, will one day sit down and write a book about their lovestory and how he met Candice. Just let me tell you this much: It made me realise that there's obstacles to any great lovestory. Maybe there must be even. But a strong love will find it's way - I can't help feeling happy knowing that!
